SCM 3.0 to SCCM baseline import fails as .cab file

Started to look at SCM 3.0 to export pre-configured baselines for use in our enviornment

Did a .cab file export (SCM cab) export of a Windows Server 2008R2 sp1 domain security compliance standard. While trying to import that in to SCCM 2012 I get the following error

---------------------------
Configuration Manager
---------------------------
The following files could not be imported because they contain incorrect or missing configuration data:

C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\Desktop\Exported SCM baselines\WS2008R2SP1 Domain Security Compliance.cab - Configuration pack contains invalid document not compliant with Configuration Item digest schema.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

If exported as 2007DCM there are settings that are not exported due to not being supported. Has anyone else had this issue and is the DCM cab the only option even though it will not export all of the baseline settings?
